Works with your favorite AI, over MCP

Ask your AI who hasn’t done the dishes.

Connect your favorite AI assistant — any that speaks MCP, the Model Context Protocol — to your family’s chores, schedule and inventory. Then just ask. It already knows whose turn it is.

The bright point that follows your pointer is the assistant, reading the family’s week. The bright point is the assistant, reading the family’s week — touch the picture to steer it.

Just ask

It knows the week as well as the fridge does

Say it the way you would to anybody else in the house. It uses your own assistant — Family Chores never runs a model to answer it.

YouWhat do the kids still have to do today?

Your AISam still has Feed the cat and Unload the dishwasher. Riley is done for the day.

YouWe’re out of milk.

Your AIDone — milk is at zero and on the shopping list.

YouPut the dentist on Thursday at 3:30.

Your AIAdded: Dentist, Thursday at 3:30.

YouDelete the dishes chore.

Your AII can’t delete anything in Family Chores. You can do that in the app.

Three steps

How to connect

  1. 1

    Copy the address

This is the one address every assistant uses.

    https://chores.click/mcp
  2. 2

    Add it to your AI

In your AI app’s settings, add a new connector — it may be called an MCP server — and paste the address in.

  3. 3

    Sign in, and allow

Sign in to Family Chores as yourself, read what it could do, and press Allow.

The rules

What it can do, and what it never will

A parent’s assistant
Reads everything a parent can, and adds and changes chores, events, notes, the inventory and rewards.
A child’s assistant
Does what that child can do in the app: reads what they can see, ticks their own chores off today, asks for more and leaves notes — and adds events only if you allow it.
Nothing gets deleted
No assistant can delete a chore, an event, a note, a thing or a reward, for anybody. The most it takes back is a move or a reward marked given.
Only ever you
It acts as the person who connected it, with exactly their permissions. People, invites and family settings are out of its reach.
Everything is marked
Whatever it changes says “via assistant” in History, and your account page counts it.
Yours to disconnect
Disconnect any assistant from your account page. A new password disconnects them all.

What it reads is sent to that assistant’s service — that is how it answers you. Nothing is sent anywhere until you connect one.

Ask it whose turn it is. It won’t take sides.

It will, however, know — and remind you that the dentist is at nine.
